Hot air ballooning 😆

There is a lot in the air at the moment about Gift Balloons and hot air balloons

These gift delivery balloons I am making at the moment are going crazy

they are extremely bespoke, down to what colour you want the clouds, red/white or bubbly, if you want chocolates with them

I have been asked about doing different styles, EG halloween, what do you think? would anyone be interested in a hot air eyeball or witch?

also, what would I put in the basket? gummy worms and things like that?

Let me know what you think would someone would like to get

Cheers

Mel

Remember, when you are working with balloon professionals in Australia, make sure they are part of BASAvic  The Balloon and Suppliers Association of Australia

We are well trained and professional, we can bring your ideas to life and help you create your reality

We are against balloon releases, only use 100% biodegradable latex balloons and request our customers Pin and Bin for the best environmental results after you have used them

Balloons are Part of your Memories, when you celebrate with them, they add to the Atmosphere and the joy of your event, the photographs taken will last for ever and be seen by everyone you want to share that joy with. A joy shared is a Joy doubled, Just as the feelings you get when celebrating come back every time you look at those photos again.

Have a great week

Nothing says winter in Australia like Citrus and we are all a flutter with the yummyness

I was asked yesterday to install something cool for Citrus and this is a nice little display I’m kinda proud of, it’s a little odd but I like that 😊 the 3ft balloon that’s an orange makes me very happy

Balloon workshop for Mother’s Day night

Sooo many kids, I love teaching, it’s so much fun, tonight  I taught a huge bunch of kids how to twist balloons 🎈
We made dogs and swords and belts and flowers and butterflies, all for a fabulous Mother’s Day night.  What a wonderful life I lead #hardworkbutlucky

An interactive balloon show in a retirement Village

So yesterday I was invited to perform for a lovely group of elderly residents in an assisted care facility, they were lovely, and apparently my outfit is properly bright enough for them to see me 😆

I’m not allowed to take any photos that could show The ladies and gentlemen in the center, but they seemed to love it 😍

This is what being a Professional is all about, Being Prepared

So many times I get questioned about why we are expensive, and I get it, you want to look after the budget, but this is why you want want to only work with professionals.

Today, I was twisting balloons and entertaining the crowd,

A little girl about 12 so not that little I guess, at the front of my line fainted, as a Professional, I have all  my insurances and working with children’s checks, and a senior first aid cerificate, And nearly 20years working with children.

I’m lucky to have caught her before she hit anything, I let her down gently and made sure her head did not hit the ground, put her into the recovery position and, as others (thank you parents that came in to assist when this happened, you are awsome) called her carers and management, we started cooling her down, this was all done calmly, and methodically.
Her little sister was also in the line for balloons so after we got sister 1 squared away, cold cloths and cold water, carers in attendance I made her the best poppy troll-like balloon I could, I made sure she had down and got her to smile and relax.

This is my life.

Being an entertainer means I am always prepared, I have a first aid kit with me should it be required, I am very conscious about health and safety because you and your children are my responsibility, both in entertainment and in safety when I’m booked, because accidents happen my friends, A professional entertainer will always Be Prepared, even if it’s not me, make sure you are sure of whom you are working with
Be well my friends

AFL has finally got a women’s competition, I can’t make it, but I made a balloon 🎈😊

Well, it’s been a long time coming, Aussie rules has a female competition, it’s awsome that there are women playing this beautiful game, I couldn’t make it because of reasons, but I made a balloon to commemorate this historic event, The Nurses were very pleased #afl #gocarlton img_8512

Nurses are the angels that watch whilst we sleep

In the children’s hospital, when the doctor has done the rounds, the surgery, discussed, pondered and logged the drug and rehab regime, the Nurses are there, from triage to discharge wiping, feeding, soothing, and just being there for you
